Dec 18, 2007 - My only comment is the actor is looking up to the right and not directly at the camera.

Dec 18, 2007 - great ad!!!!!!!!!!! i agree with presov below that there is a slightly too many 'ours' at the very end. could use a very tiny bit of clarifying there.

Revere1776 Says:

Dec 18, 2007 - Not quite as strong as the others but still light years ahead of the official campaign crap commercials.

Dec 18, 2007 - That is an awesome video

jblackpost Says:

Dec 18, 2007 - I think the phrasing should be "politicians love to use the phrase' our children'. But..."I might reshoot it with a famous pastor, if I get scramble the dough. They'll be more ads to come...

Dec 18, 2007 - Wow, incredible ad, really emphasizes the great aspect of Ron Paul's campaign... FREEDOM... We need more of these...

thaicinema Says:

Dec 18, 2007 - This should be on every minute of every hour in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada! (Well, not literally every minute, but you know what I mean)

JiveDadson Says:

Dec 19, 2007 - I agree that the last line should be changed also. Besides the ambiguous antecedent, there's the fact that children are no one's property. Not the government's. Not the parent's. In normal circumstances, I trust the parents to educate them and keep them healthy more than I do the government. But still.

JiveDadson Says:

Dec 19, 2007 - Edit: I agree that the "they're ours" line should be changed also. Besides the ambiguous antecedent, there's the fact that children are no one's property. Not the government's. Not the parent's. In normal circumstances, I trust the parents to educate them and keep them healthy more than I do the government. But still.

lwil007 Says:

Dec 19, 2007 - No offense Jivedad, but the parents are responsible for their children in the sense of who is responsible... The parents or the Government! No hidden meaning here IMHO...

jrigamonti Says:

Dec 21, 2007 - Great ad. I agree with Jivedad that it could be said a little better at the end, but it communicated perfectly to me the first time, and I think thats what matters. Ron Paul 2008!

Retromaniacs Says:

Jan 8, 2008 - I am under the impression that the children I bring into this world are "MINE." They are/should be "MY" responsibility until they decide they wish to take responsibility for their own lives and actions. ie get a job and leave home etc.The line in the ad is just saying "It is not governments job" - it is the Parents job. I think it's fine.

HugoEckener Says:
